Digital Millennium Copyright Act Policy

Notice of Infringement – Claim

1. The copyright owner’s signature or an authorized representative’s signature is required;
2. Information about the copyrighted work that has been infringed must be provided;
3. Details of the infringing material and its location are necessary for removal;
4. Contact information of the complaining party should be included;
5. A statement confirming the unauthorized use of the material; and
6. An affirmation that the information provided is accurate to the best of the complainant’s knowledge.

Section 17 USC §512(f) outlines penalties for misrepresentation in DMCA notifications. Any fraudulent claims may result in civil damages.

Counter Notification – Restoration of Material

If you believe material was wrongly taken down due to a copyright claim, you can send us a counter notification. This must include:

1. Your signature;
2. Description of the removed material and its original location;
3. A statement asserting that removal was a mistake; and
4. Your contact details and consent to jurisdiction for legal matters.

Repeat Infringer Policy

We have a strict policy against repeat copyright infringements as per the DMCA regulations. Repeat offenders will have their accounts terminated.
